SHELBY'S OTHER GRANDPA
My friend, Kimberly, asked Shelby last year to help in the concession stand during baseball/softball season. This is where she met Kimberly's dad, Bobby Johnson Sr. Shelby immediately started calling grandpa just like his grandchildren. Thing is, he also has a granddaughter named Shelby. A couple of months ago, Shelby's new grandpa, got very sick and was admitted to the hospital in Charleston. She wanted to send him something to let him know she was thinking about him, so we decided on a cookie bouquet. She signed the card, Love Shelby, your other granddaughter.
I just love the way he addressed the envelope.

Oh my goodness! This brought tears to my eyes this morning. Daddy really thinks alot of Shelby. He was so excited to receive the basket of cookies. He was really down from being in the hospital for so long.
He savored every bite. A week later he still had the bear but he was legless.(the bear was, that is)
