NO PLANS FOR HALLOWEEN!!!

This was the first year I had no one dressing up or going trick or treating. Brandon had a football game in Lake City, Shelby had a party at a friend's house, Jody was in the woods, so I told Savannah she could plan the night.

Shelby found out the night before she needed to dress up for the party. So at 5:30 Friday afternoon we went to Walmart. She needed new hunting clothes, so she was G.I. Jane minus shaving the head. Savannah found a cute shirt that lite up and some red & black stockings. Instant costume. Not bad, for no plans. We went by my friend/co-worker, Emily's house, to change.

Next, we headed to Gene Wards to get gas for $1.99 a gallon. Yes, we sat in line for 15 minutes, but we had no plans. There we ran into my another friend/co-worker, Heather and her kids. Here they are with their grandmother, Lisa. Aren't Kaidence & Landen adorable.



Next we decided to eat at El Cerro. It was great!!! Savannah's friend Reid Santmann is on her soccer team. Her mom always goes out for Halloween. We went to her house next. They had a haunted trail in the backyard. It was spooky & fun at the same time. We went in with Levon & Daisy Miller (people from church). I had Mr. Levon stay in the back. When one of the characters crawled toward me and ran backwards, right into Mr. Levon. Here is a picture of the house.



Next stop was truck or treating at our church. Savannah ran into a couple of friends there, Andie Powers & Michaela Etheridge.



Emily called us and wanted to see if we would like to go on a haunted hayride that was sponsored by her church. So off again to hang out with members of First Assembly of God. Once we got there Savannah had several friends from school that were there. She had a blast.

So for no plans, we had a busy night. Savannah had a great time. I think this will be a new motto for me.
