BASEBALL/SOFTBALL JAMBOREE

Saturday was the kick off for the 2008 Baseball/Softball season. It started with a parade down Front Street, then an opening ceremony, each team played one inning and team photos were taken. It was a cool day, but everyone seemed to have fun.


First, Savannah is riding with the Lady Wildcats!!



This tradition was a highlight of my childhood as well, THROWING CANDY!!!



Most of the vehicles were decorated with their team name.



Second, here comes the Lady Bruins.

During the opening ceremony, each team was called to run around home plate.

Shelby's team is the only team for the 13-14 girls in Georgetown. They were missing a few girls, so they are waiting to take their picture at a later date.
